Our Armed Guard Training course is created for security personnel who will be carrying a sidearm as part of their equipment. The lessons include mental conditioning and tactics, firearm safety, weapon manipulation and marksmanship. Each student must pass a written examination and a live fire qualification using a service weapon.

This is a required course if you’re seeking to obtain your Arizona Guard Card. In our 8-hour course, you will learn about select Arizona state laws, use of force, search and seizure, arrest by a private person and situational awareness. We will also teach agency policies, grooming and uniform standards, as well as responsibilities of a first responder. 

Our Concealed Carry classes have been created for the citizen as well as the professional security men and women who may need to operate in an undercover or plain clothes environment. The class will instruct students in state law governing the use-of-force and deadly force. Students will also be instructed and exercised in drawing a firearm from a concealed holster, situational awareness, interaction with law enforcement in addition to other relevant skills to safely carry and deploy a concealed firearm.

We are certified by Axon (formerly T.A.S.E.R. International) to instruct and certify students as end users of T.A.S.E.R. products. Students will be taught the applicable laws governing the use of less-than-lethal force. In addition, students will become familiar with the nomenclature, function and correct weapons manipulation. Upon successfully completing the course, the student will receive a designation as an end-user; which will mandate a yearly re-certification.

 WE ARE NOT CERTIFIED TO INSTRUCT LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONAL

Students will learn the contemporary history of aerosol spray devices and the legal justifications for their use. In addition, students will be instructed in correct documentation and report writing, decontamination procedures and safe deployment of Oleoresin Capsicum/Pepper Spray. Each student must pass a written exam and may participate in exposure drills.

This course will provide training for the appropriate use of handcuffs to restrain a suspect. The course will also cover the appropriate justification for the use of handcuffs, the risk associated with the incorrect use, how to avoid injuries and the legal responsibility after you have applied handcuffs on a suspect. In addition, each student must pass a written exam and participate in drills designed to develop the skills needed to apply and remove handcuffs from a suspect.

In our baton certification classes, students will learn the essentials of carrying, deploying and striking with a collapsible baton. Student must participate in physical drill designed to test their ability to use the baton correctly while under physical stress in addition to passing a written test.
